Yeesh, that is fantastic, Doug! Thanks for posting that. That has come a long way. I hope to God a cure is not far in the future. The foundation will help that to come true. I had a friend who died of that long ago. It must be stopped.

What seemed to trigger EJ's decision to create the EJAF was the powerful story of Ryan White who died of AIDS in 1990 at age 18. EJ became close to Ryan and his mother Jeanne and shortly after Ryan's passing and after getting clean & sober created the EJAF. $400 million and lots of hard and effective work later!

Elton busy with EJAF activities in Europe - June 2018:
Elton spoke today (June 8) at the landmark THE DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES LECTURE ON HIV in London, England. He was also in Ukraine and Armenia recently examining EJAF activities in those two countries.
Elton is certainly busy doing valuable work as related to the EJAF. Good for him!

Elton John AIDS Foundation reached 1.9 million people in 2019:
Great news from the EJAF. It managed, through fundraising and other campaigns to reach 1.9 million people with care, support, and treatment in 2019.
Well done and congratulations to everyone connected with the EJAF!
