MILLION DOLLAR PIANO IN VEGAS: Elton's run in Las Vegas is over. At least for now it is over. I can see a residency in Vegas or somewhere else well down the road. Here is a review from the Las Vegas paper "Las Vegas Review-Journal" of the last concert: www.reviewjournal.com/entertainment/entertainment-columns/kats/elton-john-ends-14-year-run-with-flourish-on-to-royal-wedding/I never did get to see one of these shows; a bit expensive, Vegas is not my kind of place to visit (despite all its wonder and extravagance), and not my type of concert. The best thing about the 2nd residency, however, was that the set list included album tracks like "Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters" and "Indian Sunset" plus the rarely played "Empty Garden." Anyone here see any of these Vegas concerts? Doug

Only on DVD have I seen one. I agree Doug that one day, after the touring is over, a residency there, because his desire to perform will no doubt still be strong.

Yeah, I can see EJ in the future do a concert residency somewhere (New York, Vegas, Atlanta, etc.) which coincides with the schedules of his kids. I can't see him stop performing.
How about a 3500 seat venue residency where he FINALLY does the best of his album tracks type of show? I'd go in a second.
