Dee Murray, as many of us know, was EJ's bassist live from the early days until the band was broken up in early 1975. He returned in 1980 and played live through 1984 and was on all those "classic years" studio recordings by EJ & BT. Kindly uploaded onto YouTube today are a couple of Elton songs ("Rocket Man" and "I'm Still Standing" and "Crocodile Rock") with simply the bass isolated. Great to hear the one instrument without all the accompaniment. This person has often uploaded lots of very interesting EJ stuff to share. It is well worth checking out. Here is Dee Murray on bass for "I'm Still Standing" from TOO LOW FOR ZERO: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj-JdG7FT_k&t=58sDee, sadly, passed away from cancer in 1992 but let behind an incredible musical legacy. Yes, quite like what you have done. Thanks so much for loading them up onto YouTube. I've had friends, including musicians, outside of this site check into these videos.
Thanks again! Love it.
