Writer: Cole Porter
Suntanned, windblown
Honeymooners at last alone
Feeling far above par
Oh, how lucky we are
While I give to you and you give to me
True love, true love
So on and on it will always be
True love, true love
For you and I have a guardian angel
On high, with nothing to do
But to give to you as you give to me
Love forever, true
Love forever, true
Give me more true love
Oh yeah
True love, true love
Gotta give me your true love
Oh yeah
True love, true love

One of the gems on Duets. It's a pretty flawless adult contemporary ballad, but it doesn't really have that something that would lead to the highest rating.
5 stars.

One of my favorites from this album. They did a nice job remaking this old tune.
4 1/2 stars

Painfully bland and corny. This was a hit in the UK. It's a rare 45 that overlaps between my EJ and Beatles collections... It was a George Harrison single in 1977, from 33 1/3. In both cases I'm stumped as to why they recorded it... but at least the George version has that great sound of the album 33 1/3 going for it. There's more going on. EJ's is just bland, cloying sweetness. Music to sleepwalk by.
His only 3/4 time single?
