Davey Johnstone, Elton's long-time guitarist, musical director, and co-songwriter has released a new single called "All The Time in the World." Davey co-wrote the song with one of his sons (Charlie) and Rick Otto. The beautiful lead vocal is done by Vanessa Bryan. Adam Chester assisted in laying down the vocal foundation. Charlie Johnstone plays piano, Davey plays guitars and bass. The song is a gentle piano-driven song with nice touches of guitars and features a slight gospel flavour and a choir sound created by Davey, Adam Chester, and Vanessa Bryan. "All The Time in the World" is now on YouTube in two versions and is available everywhere digitally. A brand new interview/podcast by GREATEST MUSIC OF ALL TIME (Tom Cridland) takes time to ask Davey about this new single, future new music from the Davey Johnstone Band plus an exciting upcoming documentary about the Elton John Band from the early days looking at people like Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson. The documentary is to be called "Pillars of Hercules." Here is the excellent Tom Cridland podcast just kindly loaded onto YouTube today (December 14, 2020): www.youtube.com/watch?v=-d3OleIqSlcwww.youtube.com/watch?v=YCcAnLvyFMMEnjoy! Doug

AGR82:
Yes. Davey Johnstone hopes to have the new documentary available by summer. I would think that it might take longer. If they want a company to market & distribute the documentary then he may have to fit into their schedule.
So, hopefully we may see "Pillars of Hercules" ready for us by April at the earliest but probably later.
As soon as I hear something about the documentary release date, I will post the information here.
