ultimateclassicrock.com/queen-albums-worst-to-best/Do you agree with it? I think Flash Gordon is hugely overrated (crap to me), as well as Jazz (only moderate to me) and on the other hand The Works and The Miracle are underrated. Made In Heaven the worst - really?!!

As a big Queen fan, I DO like a lot albums like Made In Heaven, The Miracle, The Game or The Works...On the other hand, albums like Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera or News Of The World for me are a little bit overrated...Of course there are many jewels on them (In The Lap Of The Gods Revisited, I´m In Love With My Car or Spread Your Wings).
If i had to choose 5 Queen album, i´m sure would be very different to the 95% of the people

Queen albums:
I wouldn't be able to rank all of Queen's albums fairly since I know only a handful of them. I live in Canada, and similar to the USA there is a bias towards Queens albums from THE GAME and earlier releases like A NIGHT AT THE OPERA. Most fans here love the early Queen albums almost at the exclusion of post 1980 releases. Sales support this as well. FM Rock radio stations played tons of early Queen but there was a big drop-off in airplay after THE GAME.
I do like some of the early ones like A NIGHT AT THE OPERA and A DAY AT THE RACES and NEWS OF THE WORLD but I "really" like THE GAME and feel that THE WORKS is a very good album and is majorly overlooked in Canada and the USA where it went #22 and #23. In contrast it went #2 in the UK. No post-THE GAME album even cracked the top 20 in North America while most 1980s & 90s releases went #1 in the UK. After the huge success of THE GAME (#1 in Canada and the USA) there was this odd backlash which set in. It happened a lot here. It was like...once you got to be too popular there was this odd "you are uncool now" and it happened a lot. I remember well how friends were no longer interested in Queen after THE GAME. Obviously, there continued to be a following but nothing like before and their new music got less and less airplay except for a few singles. FM Rock radio stayed to playing their 70s classics almost exclusively. Even AM Hit radio played less and less Queen. The wonderful "I Want to Break Free" (a #1 and top 5 everywhere) went #45 in the USA! Queen never had another top 10 single in the 80s again after THE GAME. Only the re-release (1991) of "Bohemian Rhapsody" had success (# 1 or #2 in the USA depending on which chart you use).
So, I can't rank all Queen albums but can say that THE GAME and A NIGHT AT THE OPERA, and THE WORKS are probably my top 3...
