Great news. The Elton John AIDS Foundation raised an amazing $9.1 million at the Oscars 2023 Viewing Party held by Elton & David Furnish.
This was the 31st EJAF Oscars Party since Elton began work combating the AIDS epidemic in 1992. The funds raised at the Viewing Parties have gone towards research, treatment, education, prevention, and other AIDS-related programs
The 2023 Oscars Viewing Party was highlighted by performances from Rina Sawayama. In 2021, Elton teamed up with Rina on her beautiful song "Chosen Family" which ended up on Elton's THE LOCKDOWN SESSIONS album that same year.
