Elton John in the Netherlands

Hi everyone,

First of all, apologies if I post this in the wrong section of the message board, feel free to move it to the another place if necessary.

Anyway, my name is Joey Huisman, I'm a journalist for the VARAgids, the leading Dutch tv guide and pop culture magazine. For an upcoming edition, I'm writing a retrospective about Elton John's visits to the Netherlands. For example, the recording of the video for Your Song in Amsterdam in 1971, but also his later concerts. For that article, I would love to hear anecdotes about people who have met Elton while he was in the Netherlands. 

Are there any Dutch fans on this message board who have a great Elton John story? Or maybe someone who could put me in touch with who can tell me. It would be greatly appreciated!
