Hello
Hello
Hello, I said hello
Is this the only place you felt to go?
Am I the only man you ever had?
Or am I just the last surviving friend?
Hello
Baby, hello
Open up your heart & let your feelings flow
You're not unlucky knowing me
Keeping the speed real slow
[trippy breakdown]
Hello
You know what I mean. Have your eyes & you will see x5
[your panties are full of glitter]

I'm not a big fan of this track, although it uses "Harmony", which is one of my favorites.
3½ stars.

"Telegraph to the Afterlife" from GOOD MORNING TO THE NIGHT:
A really cool song from the #1 (UK) Elton vs. Pnau album released in 2012.
Pnau, an electronic trio from Australia, took 7 early era Elton songs to make "Telegraph to the Afterlife." Songs used include "Harmony" and "Funeral For A Friend" and "We All Fall in Love Sometimes" and "Sweet Painted Lady" and "I've Seen That Movie Too" and "Love Song" and "Indian Sunset." Pnau combined these creatively to make a trippy sounding mellow tune which was atypical to what we normally can expect from Elton. I always enjoy when Elton steps outside his musical box (eg. "The Wide-Eyed and Laughing" from BLUE MOVES and "Trust Me" from THE ROAD TO EL DORADO) and "Telegraph to the Afterlife" courtesy of Pnau achieves in creating an interesting out of the EJ musical box song quite effectively. It was good to hear Elton say how much he eventually enjoyed what Pnau did to create this song.
Rating: 4 1/2 to 5 stars
