A disappointing performance, like some from CF Deluxe. It sounds chaotic.
3½ stars.

"Pinball Wizard" (live) from CAPTAIN FANTASTIC AND THE BROWN DIRT COWBOY - Deluxe Edition:
A raw rocking version of "Pinball Wizard" featuring Elton's new band (Nigel & Dee had been released) for the big Wembley Stadium concert in London, 1975. This was a real powerful rocking band and they delivered a truly rocking version. More grit than polish made for a strong rock n' roll feel. Rock music was meant to have a bit of rawness and an attitude and to be felt and this version achieved such. Ray in the background smashing that gong! Huge fan reaction to it, as well.
Rating: 5 stars

4 stars...a decent rendition. I still like the studio version better. The fans got into it, but then again, after sitting there through the entire CF album which most probably didn't know, that's not surprising.
