Of the two officially released live versions, this one from ONO is my favorite. I think the horns on H&T don't sound as good as they probably should, which is one reason why I don't like it that much.
5+ stars.

4.5 stars...perhaps the best live version of this song. The piano run by Elton near the end is the highlight, and this rendition has a more muscular feel than the one from Here and There. Interestingly, the Here and There version carries a full horn section, but as Bite mentioned, the Muscle Shoals Horns didn't sound all that great to me, either.

"The Bitch is Back" from ONE NIGHT ONLY:
A good live version of a really good rock song from Elton. Agreed, that this 2000 version sounds much better than the 1974 HERE AND THERE version. The 1982 JUMP UP! tour version was scorching and the 1989 version with a little "Brown Sugar" was superb. The more raw and rocking the version the better. The ONE NIGHT ONLY version benefits from having John Jorgenson on hand in the band.
Rating: 5 stars
