Hand it over, reach across the line
Let's talk about it, tell me one more time
What is it you want, what'll you think you'll find
Inside of this old heart of mine
Come on out if you want to play
The rain went East, thunder rolled away
Will you ever choose, are you gonna stay
For loving you that's the price I pay
chorus:
Can't you tell the deal's been done
Won't you let me love you
I don't see no smoking gun
And I'm not here to judge you
What do you see when you look at me
Tailor-made to measure
Am I'm the love of your life my love
Or just some guilty pleasure
I roamed around looking for a clue
Searched the world, it's what I used to do
Where I went and what I went through
A beaten path to find my way to you
I can't whistle, never really could
Sang a song I guess you understood
It's what you do when you think you should
Surrender like you knew you always would
(repeat chorus)
Hold out or still in doubt
What's it gonna be
Never a chance in a million years
Or you can't get enough of me
(repeat chorus)

This is the only song on WCN that just doesn't work for me. It was my least favorite during 1st listening and it is still.
3 stars.

"Guilty Pleasure" from WONDERFUL CRAZY NIGHT:
An upbeat hand-clap assisted track from Elton's most recent (2016) studio release WONDERFUL CRAZY NIGHT. A fresh sounding song from Elton; not the sound one would come to expect. The song is driven by Davey's guitars. I wish the electric guitars in the solo were higher in the mix. Elton played this song live early in the tour after the release of WONDERFUL CRAZY NIGHT. A song like "Guilty Pleasure" fits into the album's positive upbeat theme that Elton was striving for.
Rating: 4 to 4 1/2 stars

When this was released it was one of my least favorites.I felt it didn't fit with the rest of the album. Now I know why this song was added to the album. It fits now.
4 1/2 stars

3.5 stars, though I'd prop it up to 3.75...like a couple others here, I think it's an OK song but it's still the one I tend to skip, and when I have listened to it, it just doesn't come up to the level of the other songs on the album, most of which register at 4 stars or higher.
