I gave this: 4 stars
I appreciate it when an artist brings to the table what they do best and have to offer and Mary J has quite the vocal talent so I appreciate her unique interpretation of the song. She attempts a bluesy vocal to match the song's subject matter. I'd rather have a unique interpretation that an identical copy of an original.

You should listen the 2002-02-09 version that he sang in Hartford. He tried some of the Mary´s vocals. And it sounded great! Hear it! |
