I'd like to have the english version of Les Aveux in better sound quality. Its a pretty tune. I think the english version is called Reach Out To Me. I do like Les Aveux, They duet well together.

nix: Good point about "You Gotta Love Someone." It has never shown up anywhere other than on its initial release. It was so popular here in Canada, that it went #1. Maybe it was the time in his life that the song came out that EJ doesn't like to revisit; those were tough days for him. Regardless, it is a good song. Doug However 'Medicine Man' is in there, but no 'Made For Me' nor 'I Swear I Heard The Night Talking'. Albeit for a few live performances of 'You Gotta Love Someone' in Australia 1993 (as weird as it sounds), he has completely ignored the 1990 Don Was sessions songs since. He doesn't even mention any of these in 'Me'.

JEWEL BOX - update November 6, 2020:
We are a week away from the release of Elton's JEWEL BOX in its many formats on CD and vinyl.
Today, two songs have been made available for sale digitally:
* "House" - released in 1995 on MADE IN ENGLAND. It appears on the JEWEL BOX on CD2 - DEEP CUTS. * "Watching The Planes Go By" - recorded in 1968 on what was to be Elton's first album REGIMENTAL SGT ZIPPO. It is on the JEWEL BOX on CD3 - RARITIES PART 1: 1965-1968.
Also uploaded onto YouTube are two songs:
* "Watching the Planes Go By" (see above) * "Things Only Get Better With Love" - released as a B-side and outtake from 2004's PEACHTREE ROAD. It is on the JEWEL BOX on CD7 - B-SIDES PART 2: 1984-2005.
"Watching The Planes Go By" is really interesting musically and is well worth checking out. It was the song selected as the closer for the album that never came out. As expected, it is Caleb Quaye playing superb guitar. The beautiful backing vocal comes from Dee Murray.

Yeah, I'm surprised A Little Peace didn't make the cut. It's definitely one of those always prescient songs.

BiteUrLip:
Regarding our friend Latitude, I bet that she'd also really like to see the song "Latitude" on the JEWEL BOX set. It is such a great song and is so much stronger than a good 1/2 dozen or more of the songs on the DEEP CUTS discs. Overall, though, those two DEEP CUT discs in the JEWEL BOX are pretty solid.
