Elton and the band are about to begin (September 7, 2022) their last leg of FAREWELL YELLOW BRICK ROAD concerts in Canada and the USA.
This last series of 25 stadium concerts in Canada and the USA begins in Toronto for two nights (September 7 & 8) at the Rogers Centre and will then move across the USA plus two more concerts in Vancouver BC before completing the tour at Dodger Stadium for three nights (November 17, 19, & 20).
Elton then goes back to Australia & New Zealand in January for a month of concerts.
If Elton doesn't add more shows to the tour then these September to November concerts will be his "goodbye" to Canada and the USA on the FAREWELL tour.

One week until the final Dodger Stadium concerts in Los Angeles (Nov. 17, 19, & 20):
Elton has 2 shows in Phoenix and then what will apparently be his last FAREWELL concerts in North America - Dodger Stadium.
It will be interesting to see if there is any tinkling with the setlist or if any special guests appear onstage. So far, EJ has stayed surprisingly within the same setlist night after night and has not had any guests join him onstage, from what I have seen. Guitarist John Jorgenson did replace Davey Johnstone for a period of time as Davey mended from a much-needed shoulder procedure. It would be nice to see John or possibly Caleb Quaye join onstage to play guitar for a song such as "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)." It would be a nice well-deserved nod to those musicians who made major contributions to Elton's work.
The last concert will be filmed for future release.
