Caleb Quaye was a key player in Elton's early days; co-writing, producing, and playing. Here is an interesting new full interview with Caleb Quaye by Tom Cridland: www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-ce_HsRy4o&t=100sCaleb played on everything from REGIMENTAL SGT. ZIPPO (1968) through MADMAN ACROSS THE WATER and then returned in 1975 for those mammoth tours and for ROCK OF THE WESTIES and BLUE MOVES. Tom Cridland covers those mid 1960s days when EJ was still known as Reg and also talks about Elton and the band at their peak in 1975-76. Incidentally, Tom Cridland has also interviewed Davey Johnstone in recent times - he is always a prepared & knowledgeable interviewer when it comes to EJ's music. Enjoy.
